#1 Stars Cruise To 12-0 Win

RIVER FOREST, Ill. – The Crusaders had their hands full, facing the #1 seeded Dominican Stars in a 12-0 loss on Saturday afternoon.

Coach Pill stated, “We fought very hard and actually were able to get over their endline a few times.”

The Stars fired 29 shot (18 on net); while four players had two goals each and eight players had at least a goal. Dominican also had five goals in a span of 10 minutes to close out the first period.

In the second half, junior goalkeeper Kyle Kutz (Cambridge, Wis.) replaced junior Tyler Holley (Watertown, Wis.) in net, allowing four goals.

Holley finished with six saves, allowing eight goals for the loss.

The team moves on to face Concordia-Wisconsin on Thursday, September 27 at 4:00 p.m. in Watertown.
