Maranatha is accredited under the Academic Quality Improvement Program (AQIP) of the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), part of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA).

AQIP emphasizes quality planning and process evaluation as keys to a successful, strong educational institution. At MBU, the Strategy Council (SC) oversees the implementation of the Strategic Plan and all continuous quality improvement efforts.  Every operational and academic unit participates in quality improvement projects that advance department and institutional strategic goals.  Individual employee performance is evaluated in part based on participation in quality improvement efforts designed to increase institutional effectiveness.

The Director of Institutional Research and Effectiveness (IRE) supports the faculty and staff in designing and completing projects and evaluating assessment results. As a member of the Strategy Council, the IRE Director regularly provides updates to SC on the progress of key initiatives and potential challenges.

If you have a question or comment about Maranatha’s quality program, send us an email.
