Having worked for a local hospice organization since 2008, she took the certification test and received the credentials of Certified Hospice Palliative Nurse (CHPN) in December of 2012. Miss Blyly teaches several nursing courses in addition to coordinating clinicals for nursing students.
“I love learning … just about anything. I am fascinated by history, especially World War II. I love reading and have been known to read several books at a time. I’m currently working on a master’s degree in Nursing Education through Liberty University and a master’s in Church History through Bob Jones University.”
Why she enjoys teaching at Maranatha
“It is exciting to interact with students just starting out in nursing. I vividly remember all the stress, fun, and work that is nursing school. Helping a new group of nurses start down the path to God-honoring service in the nursing field is a great joy.”
