Dr. Andrew Hudson spent two years as the youth pastor at First Baptist Church in New Ulm, Minnesota before beginning his career in education. From 1989 to 1993, he was Elementary Chapel Coordinator at Fourth Baptist Christian School in Minneapolis. He was an adjunct professor for both Central Baptist Theological Seminary (Minneapolis) and Central Baptist Seminary (Arad, Romania) during the years of 1993-1996. He was Associate Professor and later Chair for the Division of Biblical Studies at Pillsbury Baptist Bible College until 2008 before coming to Maranatha in 2009.

Dr. Hudson and his wife, Deborah, have three children, Elizabeth, Jason, and Seth. Dr. Hudson says that William Carey is his favorite missionary because “his faithfulness and the way God used him is encouraging.” He enjoys attending his children’s music and sports events, as well as traveling and eating hamburgers and Mexican food. He is a deacon and an adult/teen Sunday School teacher at his local church, and is also on the church’s Finance Committee.
