About Miss Bolton

Ann Bolton’s parents were involved in starting new Christian schools, so she grew up living in many different places around the U.S. She considers herself a Michigander (a Yupper, to be exact), though she has now lived in Watertown longer than in any other location. Her favorite outdoor recreation is whitewater rafting, and she is an avid scrapbooker.

After graduating from Maranatha with a Bachelor of Science in Bible and Elementary Education, Ann taught fourth grade for three years at Indiana Christian Academy in Anderson, Indiana. She then returned to Maranatha to work as the athletic secretary for four years before returning to teaching at Bill Rice Christian Academy in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The year 2000 brought Ann back to Maranatha as the Assistant Athletic Director, teacher, and coach. In May 2005, she received her MS from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater for Curriculum and Instruction in Physical Education, Health, and Coaching.

Ann Bolton ministers through her local church, Calvary Baptist Church of Watertown. She assists with the deaf ministry and Truth Trackers Bible club for children. In addition, she helps with the annual Martial Arts Tournament and substitutes in Sunday school classes and nursery.
