Meet the Department Chair
Dr. Paul Molitor, the acting chair of the Applied Science Department came to Maranatha from the School of Chemical Sciences at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he worked as a spectroscopist maintaining, operating and training others in the operation of the device used to measure chemical structure. When asked what he loves about teaching at Maranatha, Molitor says, “Making a difference for the Lord. Contributing to that work is fulfilling. There are many examples of prominent scientists who were also Christians, and understanding that is important. My desire is to show students the benefits and importance of studying how God’s creation works.”
