Experience
Dr. Brown came to Maranatha to teach in 2003. Before this, he spent two years as the music pastor at Faith Baptist Church in Lafayette, Indiana and fifteen years as the school and church music director at Tri-City Baptist Church in Kansas City, Missouri.

About
Dr. Brown and his wife, Ruth, have been married since 1986, and have two children, Audrey and Will (’14). Mrs. Brown also teaches in the Department of Music at Maranatha. Dr. Brown serves in various ministries at Calvary Baptist Church in Watertown, including directing the church orchestra, leading the college choir, assisting with the church choir, and assisting congregational singing. He enjoys hunting, auto mechanics, tennis and gardening. His favorite food is spaghetti with his homemade marinara sauce. He loves vacationing in Ocean City, New Jersey.
