Janet Tschida has had experience as piano instructor and teacher since 1998. She taught at White House of Music from 1998-2001 and was on the piano faculty at Waukesha County Conservatory of Music (Hartland, Wisconsin) from 2001-2008. She has been involved in music at Maranatha since 2001. She is the Piano Track Director for Great Lakes Music Festival and Music Camp, both sponsored by Maranatha. She is the Music School Director for Maranatha’s Piano Preparatory School and is also Assistant Professor for the University, teaching a number of piano pedagogy, hymnplaying, and keyboarding classes. She is a state chairperson for the Wisconsin Federation of Music Clubs, as well as a member of the Music Teachers National Association (nationally certified), the American College of Musicians, and the Early Childhood Music and Movement Association.

Ms. Tschida teaches the sixth grade Sunday School class at Calvary Baptist Church in Watertown, and is additionally involved in music and the Ladies’ Bible Memory Group. She loves to be outdoors biking, playing tennis, walking her dog, going to the lake, or sitting around a campfire. She cheers for the Packers football team and loves Mexican food and the Caribbean.
