Mrs. Kelly Crum has experience both as nursing staff and teacher. She spent twenty-four years as a staff nurse (including camp nurse), specializing in the areas of pediatrics, oncology, and maternity. She has over twenty-one years of experience teaching nursing—specializing in pediatrics, maternity, and leadership—and twelve years of administration experience in nursing education. She has been at Maranatha since 2009.

Mrs. Crum is married to Dr. Jeff Crum, Director of Online and Distance Learning. They have four sons—Jonathan, Andrew, Benjamin, and Michael. The Crums attend Calvary Baptist Church in Watertown, where Mrs. Crum serves in medical areas. She often assists medical needs during church services, activities, and community services. She has also ministered at various camps during the summer months as nurse and consultant for legal matters regarding nursing. Originally being from the south, Mrs. Crum loves southern comfort foods, as well as a variety of ethnic foods. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and knitting, and her favorite states are Tennessee and North Carolina. Mrs. Crum notes that missionary midwife Ruth Kennedy (Ethiopia) has made an impact on her life because of her “pioneering spirit, prayer life, and impact where God has planted her.”
