Dr. Manuel Morales has taught at five different universities. His first teaching assignment was at Temple University (1997-2003), followed by Rutgers-Camden (1999-2003), Lander University, S.C. (2003-06), and Bethel University, Ind. (2006-08), at one point teaching at two colleges at the same time.

Dr. Morales grew up in Barcelona, Spain, in a Catholic family. He heard the gospel for the first time when he was sixteen, and accepted the Lord as his Savior when he turned twenty-one. He avidly pursues Maranatha students for the University’s Spanish program, allowing anyone with a knowledge of Spanish, no matter how broad or limited, to attend Spanish chapel once each week. He and his wife, Pam, attend Grace Baptist Church in Madison. Dr. Morales teaches Sunday School and leads the ESL class. He and his wife have two children, Drew and Ana.
