About Mr. Stevens

Mark Stevens has been a part of Maranatha since 1987 and Vice President of Business Affairs since 1993. Mr. Stevens was privileged to be raised in a Christian family and came to know Christ at a young age. He and his wife Erma, have enjoyed raising their children all of their lives in Watertown. They keep active at their church and attending concerts and sporting events of the children.

Mr. Stevens has also served as Business Office Manager and Information Systems Manager. He has been involved with the accounting and management of not-for-profit organizations for more than 30 years. His responsibilities have included payroll and human resources, billing and accounts receivable collections, cash management, insurance, vehicle fleets, auxiliary enterprises, and building projects. He has consulted for many churches and parachurch organizations in the areas of financial processes, procedural audits, and human resource management. Mr. Stevens is a member of the Association of Business Administrators of Christian Colleges, National Association of College & University Business Officers, Commerce & Education Partnership of the Watertown Chamber of Commerce, and the Watertown Public Library Board of Trustees.

Mr. Stevens’ academic interests include employee benefits, building programs, and construction project management.


Mr. Stevens and his family attend Calvary Baptist Church in Watertown, where he is business manager and also serves in the video and bus ministries.
