The business of sport
Sports might have played a very large and enjoyable role in your life; have you considered it for a profession? A career in sport can be in your future. The business of sport is a consistently growing field with an annual multi-billion dollar industry. The educational experience of a Maranatha sport management minor includes a strong foundation of business and sport management concepts in areas of economics, sales, sport marketing/promotion and financing, event planning and production, facility management, ethics and society in sport, business and sport law.
Meet our faculty
Coach Keith Salscheider played college basketball at Liberty University, St. Cloud State University (Minnesota) and San Diego Christian College (California). His professional basketball career included four years in the Continental Basketball Association (CBA). He averaged 17 points and shot 45 percent from 3-point range for the Great Falls (Montana) Explorers in 2007-08. He has coached and taught at Maranatha since 2012.
