Personal: Scott was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. His parents are James Jr. and Mauri Sutter, who currently reside in Cincinnati. Scott’s greatest spiritual influence were his parents who, “Always directed me toward a habit of studying and loving God.” His greatest athletic influence was his father, brother, and cousins who always pushed him to be better. Scott’s favorite athlete is Ernie DiGregorio. His favorite basketball memory is, “Coaching Team Upward at my home church and losing every game except the only one I wasn’t present for; which helped me understand that winning isn’t everything.” His two favorite life verses are Joshua 1:9 and 1 Corinthians 9:24-27.

2012-13 Season Stats and Highlights: Scott started 4 games and averaged 18 minutes per contest in his first season for the Crusaders. He averaged 6 points and 4 rebounds per game. Some season highlights for Scott were, “Winning the first college game I was able to play in, as well as the Lord providing for me to achieve financial eligibility. Also getting to meet the guys for the first practice as a Crusader after Christmas 2012 was a great thrill.”
