Ruth Steinbart received the title of head coach for the men’s and women’s cross country teams in 2013. After a 3rd place finish by the men and 4th place finish by the women in 2013, both teams set their sights on trying to win a National Title. That dream became a reality in 2014 as the Men’s team won first place and the Women’s team took 2nd place at Nationals. Steinbart was also awarded the NCCAA DII Men’s Coach of the Year Award. 2015 proved to be another exciting year as the Men’s team repeated their performance with another National Title win with a 60 point lead and the Women’s team took a disappointing third place, just five points behind the second place team. Steinbart was again awarded the NCCAA DII Men’s Coach of the Year Award.
