CHICAGO, Ill. – Maranatha completed its run through the NCCAAII Midwest Regional Tournament with another championship crown, defeating #2 Moody Bible, 76-44 on Saturday afternoon.

The Archers were only down 21-18 in the first period, and 34-23 at the half, but the Crusaders clamped down in the second, opening up a 62-34 lead thanks to 20 points from senior forward Torey DeLozier (Watertown, Wis.) and 12 points from sophomore forward Stacie Ross (Wyoming, Mich.).

The team shot 45% from the field and out-rebounded the Archers 50-42. Maranatha won the turnover battle as well, committing just eight compared to Moody’s 23.
