Brendemuehl leads Crusaders at MSOE Invitational

Sophomore wrestler Josiah Brendemuehl (Mishicot, Wis.) won his first match of the season at the MSOE Invitational.

After suffering a loss by fall in his first match against Sam Apland (Central College), Brendemuehl bounced back against William Pedersen (MSOE), winning a 6-2 decision in the fourth round of the Wrestle back.

Wrestlers Jordan Dersch (Prattville, Ala.) and Ethan Hokanson (Abilene, Kans.) also wrestled in the 197 class in their first season with the Crusaders.

Senior Peter Thompson (Buffalo, Mo.) scored two points in a 5-2 loss by decision to Adam Chaulklin (MSOE).

The Crusaders move on to the North Central Invitational on December 10, in Naperville, Ill. at 9:00 a.m.
