Freshman pitcher Greg Scheiderer pitched four innings in game one, and struck out four batters while allowing seven earned runs in the first game, and Maranatha jumped into an early 2-0 lead, when freshman infielder Caleb Prigge (Watertown, WI) scored on a groundout RBI by Caleb Rost (Greenville, S.C.). Prigge finished the game, 3-3 from the plate and a run scored.
