Crusaders Run well at NAC Championships

SOMERS, Wis. – The Men’s and Women’s team finished well at the NAC Championships and came away with several awards.

Maranatha’s Andrew Domsic (Mattawan, Mich.) and Cari Cook (Jackson, Mich.) were selected to the All-Sportsmanship Team.

The race bode well for top runners William O’Malley (Rockford, Ill.) and Lauren Stephens (Chicago, Ill.) as they finished 10th and 23rd respectively.

O’Malley ran a time of 27:49.4 in the 8K race while Stephens finished in 25:38.4 minutes. Junior runner Cari Cook finished with a season record of 29:25.4 minutes.

Freshman runner Mike Kluver (Sauk Centre, Minn.) was the second men’s runner to cross at 30:29.9 minutes. Newcomer Jeremy McPhillips (Georgetown, Ill.) finished with a time of 31:10.4 minutes.
