Dominican posts shutout against shorthanded Crusaders

WATERTOWN, Wis. – The Dominican Stars posted a 6-0 shutout in dismal weather against the shorthanded Crusader team. Maranatha was without star forward Karis Rogers due to a funeral and forward Andrea Jochum.

The Stars scored in the 17th minute of the first half and notched another goal before a halftime score of 2-0. Dominican scored four more goals in the second half to close out the game.

Goalkeeper Ginny Martin (3-5) took the loss for Maranatha.

The women’s team will host Rockford on Saturday October 1st at 1:30 p.m. in conjunction with Parent’s Day.
