Online Adjunct Faculty (All Subjects)

Maranatha is seeking qualified individuals to become part of the online adjunct faculty pool (no relocation necessary). Applications are being received for all subject areas, with specific needs in the areas of Sociology, Geography, History, English, and Web Design. Applicants must possess an earned master’s degree or above in the academic field in which they would teach and be members in good standing with a like-minded church in their hometown.

Dean, School of Education

Maranatha is seeking a qualified individual to become Dean of the School of Education. The present Dean, William Licht, will be assuming the post of Vice President for Academic Affairs replacing John Brock, who will be retiring at the end of the 2013-2014 academic year.

The School of Education is the largest among Maranatha’s eight academic units. Since 1995 Maranatha’s Teacher Education programs have been authorized by Wisconsin DPI to license beginning educators in 24 distinct licensable content and developmental areas from pre-school through secondary levels.

Applicants must possess an earned doctorate in Education and possess demonstrated excellence in classroom instruction and leadership skills. Expected qualifications include exemplary commitment to a local Baptist church, and comfort and commitment to promote Christian schools while seeking to prepare educational servants and leaders in all types of educational institutions, including Christian, Home, and Public.

Nursing Department faculty

Maranatha is currently seeking qualified individuals to be Nursing instructors in the following areas: Women’s Health/OB Nursing Clinical, Community/Public Health/Psychiatric Mental Health, and Pediatrics. These positions require a minimum of a Master of Science in Nursing, 3 years (minimum) current clinical practice the area of interest, and a Wisconsin license (or non-encumbered license that can be transferred). Teaching experience preferred. Master of Science in Nursing degree preferred, but consideration will be given to an individual with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with the appropriate experience who is to be an active participant in an MSN program immediately upon hire.
