Maranatha is seeking to employ a qualified individual to serve as a full-time faculty member beginning with the 2016-2017 academic year. The individual must meet all of the faith-based essentials for employment at Maranatha Baptist University, plus possess the following:
- A graduate degree in Spanish
- Previous experience in teaching on the secondary or collegiate level
- Experience teaching conversational Spanish
- Willingness to teach courses related to Spanish culture and literature
- A discerning Christian worldview
- Experience or interest in planning/leading Spanish trips overseas
- Experience or interest in web-based, online instruction and course management systems
School of Business Faculty
Maranatha’s School of Business is seeking a full-time faculty member to teach general undergraduate Business courses. This position begins in January 2017. Depending on qualifications and interests, teaching opportunities will likely include courses such as Introduction to Business, Principles of Management, Principles of Marketing, Operations, and Economics. Additional opportunities exist in more specialized courses, such as Business Statistics. Other duties will include student advising and mentoring, updating curriculum, and assisting with departmental and institutional tasks. The ideal candidate will have an exemplary Christian testimony of spiritual maturity in the home and a local Baptist church ministry, a master’s degree in Business, a minimum five years of training and professional experience in Business (preferred), up-to-date knowledge and use of MS Office suite, and experience in teaching and training others.

Online Adjunct Faculty (All Subjects)
Maranatha is seeking qualified individuals to become part of the online adjunct faculty pool (no relocation necessary).
