Mary Ann Lumm is married to Dr. Werner Lumm, the CIO and Facilities Manager of Maranatha. They have four children and eight grandchildren. Mary Ann’s favorite places to vacation are Virginia and South Carolina, where her grandchildren reside. She loves any sort of baked cheesecake and her favorite missionary is Barnabas from the New Testament. She sings in the choir at her home church, Calvary Baptist Church in Watertown.
Prior to the start of her teaching at Maranatha in 2010, Mary Ann Lumm worked in such venues as pre-college teaching, large church printshop operations, publication design and layout, illustration, proofreading, project coordination, and illustration/photo-acquisition department coordination. She was lead designer or project coordinator for a number of textbook series published by a leading Christian publisher and has served as art director for periodicals published by a leading Christian school association.
