Donors and friends continually give to Maranatha students by creating scholarships and funding current institutional scholarships. You can read a few student stories, or click to apply for one of these scholarships below. These scholarships are for incoming first-time freshmen or transfer students. Be sure to apply online before arriving as a student. In 2014-2015, more than 350 students received Maranatha institutional scholarships valued at over $900,000!

Bible and Church Ministries Scholarship

  • enrolled in the College of Bible and Church Ministries or the Humanities: Cross-Cultural degree
  • up to $20,000 over 4 years

Teacher Education Scholarship

  • enrolled in the School of Education
  • up to $14,000 over 4 years

Department of Music Scholarship

  • enrolled in the Department of Music
  • up to $3,500 for one year

Exceptional Student Scholarship

  • exceptional academics in high school
  • based on ACT composite score
  • up to $4,000 over 4 years

Pastor’s Scholarship

  • father is full-time fundamental Baptist pastor, pastoral staff member, evangelist, missionary, or Christian camp director
  • up to $6,000 over 4 years

Christian Worker’s Scholarship

  • parent is full-time employee of a fundamental Baptist ministry
  • up to $4,000 over 4 years

Alumni Scholarship

  • parent is Maranatha alumnus
  • up to $4,000 over 4 years

 Claron and Ina Stewart Memorial Scholarship

  • An incoming freshman who graduated from a public high school.
  • Be pursuing a degree in Maranatha Baptist University’s School of Education.
