BACHELOR OF ARTS | CHURCH MINISTRY: YOUTH PASTORATE

If God has planted in your heart a special burden for children being brought up in this post-modern culture, earning a degree in Youth Ministries is a wise first step in investing in their lives for the glory of God. A senior-year internship at a local church provides valuable experience on the ground, leading young people toward Christ.

Alumni Spotlight

Brian Neal (’12)
Brian Neal began ministry as a Children’s Pastor at Grace Baptist Church in New Castle, IN, upon completing his Youth Ministries degree at Maranatha. His role expanded two summers later to also include the position of youth pastor. “Everything I do now is in line with my degree,” Brian said. “All of the training I took dealt with working with youth, counseling youth, and planning events. Probably the biggest thing that helped me there was the extension churches— putting into practice what I was learning in the classroom.”
