“SACRED MASTERWORKS—Past and Present”
“SACRED MASTERWORKS—Past and Present” is the theme of the Fall Festival program Friday, October 26, 2012 at 7:00 PM in the Gym at Maranatha. The combined choirs and symphony orchestra will be presenting past masterworks of sacred choral symphonic literature including works of Mozart, Brahms, Faure, and Handel. Present sacred gems include Praise, My Soul, the King of Heaven arranged by Lopez & Lynch, Holy, Holy, Holy arranged by Bob Walters, and He Never Said a Mublin’ Word arranged by Monty Budahl. Prospective music students are encouraged to visit Maranatha the weekend of October 26 to meet the music faculty and hear Maranatha’s musicans in action. Tickets are not required for this event, but an offering will be taken.
