Course Name/Code: English Composition 2, HUEN 122
Catalog Description: Discussion and practical application of various techniques and approaches useful in producing correct and effective writing. Includes instruction in research paper procedures. Once a student has begun main campus coursework, this course must be taken in the classroom and not online.
Prerequisite: HUEN 121 (Unless a 26+ was earned on the English section of the ACT)
Note: This is a 12-week course.

- Read about nine chapters from the text Writer’s Option and to write a post based on the assigned exercise.
- Write posts from reading assignments and respond to other students’ posts.
- Edit student papers.
- Write a two part essay for your final exam.
