MBU Alum Tom Allen Named Coach of the Year

Maranatha alumnus and Indiana University head coach Tom Allen (’92)  was named the Big Ten’s Hayes-Schembechler Coach of the Year (coaches vote) and Dave McClain Coach of the Year (media vote). Coach Allen is currently one of nine finalists for the Eddie Robinson Coach of the Year Award, one of eight finalists for the Paul “Bear” Bryant Coach of the Year Award, one of five finalists for the Dodd Coach of the Year Trophy, and a semifinalist for the George Munger Coach of the Year Award. 

Coach Allen has built an incredible program in a very competitive conference.  His focus for his team is LEO (Love Each Other) and it has been embraced not only by his team but the entire campus.
