MBU 101 – Maranatha 101

Maranatha 101 provides a platform for new student orientation, communication, and resource distribution. The following is a partial list of topics to be contained within Maranatha 101: Student Life Handbook, course registration process, tutorials for learning management system, FAQ for student life at Maranatha, introductions to various departmental expectations.

MBU 120 – Post-Secondary Academic Success (2)

A study of the tools and techniques needed for students to strengthen their study skills and learn effective strategies to increase performance and general success in college. Topics include learning strategies, time management, goal setting, memory processing, critical thinking, test taking, reading, note taking, technology, and campus resources. (2 credit hours) Offered every Fall semester.

MBU 500 – Graduate Success in Online Learning

This course provides an introduction to the MOL program at MBU. Students in this graduate seminar are introduced to MBU’s learning management system and to the research tools and resources available to them for completing their MOL program. (0 credits)
