What is Giving Tuesday?

Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. The focus of this “day” is to give individuals and companies an opportunity to give back to their communities, ministries, and other non-profit organizations.

Introducing Giving Tuesday 2020 – Give to Leaders. Give to the Future.

While students have many opportunities to receive scholarships, two specific scholarships focus on training leaders: the Leadership Scholarship and the Public Affairs Internship Scholarship.

The Leadership Scholarship is given to incoming students from pastors and alumni. This enables new students to start their journey to become leaders as they explore what God has for them.

The Public Affairs Internship Scholarship is awarded once a student completes a business-oriented internship. These internships are done under the close instruction of high profile individuals, such as the former Wisconsin Lieutenant Governor Rebecca Kleefish, Wisconsin Senator Dale Kooyenga, and the current Watertown mayor, Emily McFarland. Students have the incredible opportunity to grow and apply the skills they learned as they increase their knowledge of their field.

You have the opportunity to give towards these up and coming leaders. Read about past internship experiences and consider what you can do to help train the next generation of leaders.
