Jerry Kolwinska came to Maranatha in 1995 with more than twenty years of experience in education. During that time, he taught secondary English and history and was principal in two different schools. In addition to teaching, Mr. Kolwinska was Maranatha’s English Program Coordinator for many years. He teaches a variety of humanities and education courses, including English grammar, composition, and literature.
Mr. Kolwinska loves teaching as a way to influence the future for Christ. Regarding teaching at MBU, he says, “God opened the door to a great ministry opportunity.”

Church Ministry: Jerry teaches Sunday School for college-aged students and is a member of the choir in his church.
Other activities and interests: Model railroading, reading, gardening, spending time with their grandchildren

Family: Jerry and his wife, Marcele, have been married since 1971. Marcele also taught at Maranatha. Two of the Kolwinska’s three children graduated from Maranatha.
