Jim Harrison

Assistant Professor
College of Bible and Church Ministries

Jim Harrison and his family moved to Watertown in 1997 to begin ministering at Maranatha. Having experience as a youth pastor and assistant camp director, he was well prepared for ministry in the college setting. “Dr. H” (as he’s affectionately known around campus) serves as the Vice President for Advancement, coordinating all the offices that deal with marketing, student recruitment, and development. He teaches part-time in the College of Bible and Church Ministries, bringing his practical ministry experience into the classroom.

“I have always loved working with youth and doing what I can to impact the next generation of church leaders for Christ. My role at Maranatha gives me the opportunity to challenge more students to attend the University so they can be influenced by our quality faculty and staff for God’s glory.” — Jim Harrison
