Dean, College of Bible and Church Ministries
Mark Herbster came to Maranatha in 2018 with sixteen years of practical ministry experience. As leader of the Herbster Evangelistic Team, he has preached in camps, churches, and conferences, and has served alongside pastors in churches all over the world. His passionate spiritual fervor permeates his ministry at Maranatha, participating alongside students in music groups and events, directing student discipleship efforts and teaching, as well as filling the role of Dean of the College of Bible and Church Ministries and Maranatha Baptist Seminary.
Regarding his choice to teach at MBU, Herbster says, “Teaching allows me to have influence that lasts longer than my lifetime as I invest in the younger generation. I chose to minister at MBU because it has a strong theological and philosophical foundation on which I am confident to stand and on which to build.”
