David Saxon

Dr. David Saxon came to Maranatha Baptist University in 1999. Before joining the MBU faculty, he taught for thirteen years at several different colleges and universities. He is frequently invited to speak on Baptist History in churches and at conferences. Dr. Saxon teaches Baptist Heritage, Hebrew History, and the History of Christianity as well as a variety of Bible courses.

Family: David and his wife, Jamie, have been married since 1984. Their four children are all Maranatha graduates.

Church Ministry: David is a small group leader for his church’s Sunday evening services.
