Maranatha is located in Watertown, which sits on the banks of the winding Rock River in southeast Wisconsin. Watertown (population 25,000) provides a safe environment for families while being large enough to have the national chain stores and restaurants found in most midsize communities. The Johnson Creek Outlet Mall is about 10 minutes from campus.<\/p>\n

Located strategically near Interstate 94, Watertown offers easy access to Milwaukee to the east and Madison to the west. Both are about an hour\u2019s drive from Watertown.<\/p>\n

Milwaukee is home to such attractions as the Pettit National Ice Center<\/a> (an Olympic training facility with a public ice rink), the Marcus Center for Performing Arts<\/a>, and the Milwaukee County Zoo<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Madison, the Wisconsin state capitol<\/a>, offers the Olbrich Botanical Gardens<\/a>, the University of Wisconsin campus<\/a>, State Street (a pedestrian district near the university featuring shopping and eateries), the Henry Vilas Zoo<\/a> (free), and performing arts venues.
