[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Resident hall students must be at least 17 years old by the first day of classes unless granted an exception by the Administration. Contact the Student Life Office for information about the exceptions process (studentlife@mbu.edu). The maximum age for a student to live in a residence hall is 30. Residence hall students who arrive on campus early are subject to the rules published in the Student Life Handbook.

On-Campus Residence Policy

All single students are required to live in the residence halls and participate in the board program unless
  • you are living with parents.
  • you are a Graduate student.
  • you are student teaching in town.
  • you are a Junior or Senior with approved work-related opportunities where living off-campus is a condition of employment (applies only to those who have lived in the residence halls for 4 semesters and have established a good record and reputation).
    • Students may not live at Shepherds Home during any semester (employees of Shepherds Home may stay over the weekends).

Note: Any student who is the custodial parent of a minor child may not live in on-campus student housing.
