Roland (Dick) Steinhaus, together with family and friends, has established this scholarship in memory of his wife, Helen Steinhaus, who went to be with the Lord on September 12, 2012. Helen was a humble, godly lady who supported her husband in his pastoral ministry, raised three children who are serving the Lord, and was an encourager and example to many in the churches where she served. Two of their children graduated from Maranatha and another attended Maranatha for a year. This scholarship is awarded to a Pastoral Studies major who has clearly stated his intention of serving God as a pastor. The student must be entering his junior or senior year, have a minimum 2.5 GPA, and exhibit godly character.
