teach online

Bring your real-world experience to students by teaching online!

Teaching online can be a rewarding and enjoyable experience. Many faculty members would love to and are qualified to teach a course or two at a Baptist institution but find it difficult to move from a current ministry or job.

Maranatha is now hiring and looking for qualified instructors who are active members of a fundamental Baptist church and who are interested in teaching online. Qualified instructors will possess a graduate degree (doctorate required for master-level instruction), significant experience in the course’s topic, and college-level teaching experience. We provide in-house training and funding for external learning opportunities so you can be prepared to teach online. Maranatha uses the eLearning learning management system that allows you to post discussions, moderate forums, use dropboxes, post grades, and integrate videos online for your students.

Online faculty members are employed on a class-by-class basis.

If you’re interested in teaching online, please review our Statement of Faith and Faculty Qualifications and then complete the pre-application form below. We will contact you as soon as we can.
