Academic Success Center – Tutors

The Academic Success Center is looking for tutors. Applicants need to be teachable, patient, and at least a sophomore with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Tutors are needed in various areas including Math, Science, Greek, Writing, Music, and General Education Courses. Hours are flexible.

Capital Improvements – Summer Carpenter’s Assistant

Capital Improvements is looking to hire a student worker for the summer. Applicants must have an aptitude for “hands on” work and a desire to be a part of improving MBU’s campus.

Custodial – Men’s Dorms

Custodial is looking for daytime workers to clean in the men’s dorms. Questions can be directed to Mr. Paul Barnes (Paul.Barnes@mbu.edu).

Custodial – Summer Guys Cleaning Crew

The Custodial department is seeking to hire 2 guys for this summer’s Cleaning Crew (mostly daytime hours). This crew helps prepare the campus for camps, vacuums and cleans carpets, and scrubs floors. This position requires workers to be on their feet for extended periods of time and involves some heavy lifting and moving.

Custodial – Weekend Cleaning Crew

Custodial is seeking workers for the Weekend Cleaning Crew to clean main buildings. Must be available Saturday or Sunday nights, 10:00 p.m. until midnight. 

Dining Complex

The Dining Complex is looking to hire a couple more students for the Spring 2026 semester. If you enjoy working in the kitchen or in food service, consider working in the DC and helping provide a valuable service to fellow students, faculty, staff, and campus guests.

Grounds – Summer

The grounds department is seeking to hire several grounds care worker to help maintain the lawn and landscaping on campus during the summer.  The ideal candidate should be comfortable operating zero turn lawn mowers (for 16 years old and older) and/or willing to work in the flower beds. 

Kiddie Kampus – Summer

If you enjoy working with young children, consider working at Kiddie Kampus this summer. Several positions are open to faculty, staff and students (must be 18 years old and older).

Old Main Cafe

Old Main Café has some openings for Fall 2026. Anyone with prior coffee shop experience is encouraged to apply for a barista position at OMC! Come join a great crew of friendly baristas!

Paint Crew – Summer

Do you enjoy painting? Facilities is seeking to hire members for the summer paint crew! This crew will be giving fresh looks to the insides and outsides of various buildings around camp. Questions can be directed to Mr. Nate Huffstutler (Nathan.Huffstutler@mbu.edu).

Stage Crew

Stage Crew is looking to hire student workers. If you enjoy construction, and/or are artistic and enjoy being backstage for plays, this position provides a great opportunity to put those talents to work and learn.

Security

Security is looking to add more guards for the evenings. If you are looking to gain experience in the area of security, Maranatha Security can give you experience. The job includes working mostly evenings/nights with some Saturdays and Sundays as well. We do require that you have completed at least one full semester on campus before the beginning of work.
