Student Health Center – Student Assistants

The Student Health Center has a need for one female and one or two male students, preferably with a vehicle, to help with lunch meals for ill or quarantined students. At least a 45 minutes are needed to get names and phone numbers from the Student Health Center, get the lunch order from the students, go to the DC to pick up the food and then deliver it to the dorm. You do not have to be available all seven days. You will be reimbursed for gas as well as the time you spend. This is a great way to be a blessing to others and get paid for it! Kiddie Kampus – Assistant Teachers

Applications are being taken for afternoon assistant teachers at Kiddie Kampus Preschool & Daycare. Applicants must be available from 1:30 or 2:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Please contact Mrs. Melissa Chapman for more information. 

Recruitment Team

Looking for an evening on-campus job with flexible hours? The MBU Recruitment team is hiring recruitment callers to help contact prospective students. Student callers are paid similarly to other on-campus jobs, and are permitted to work between 8-25 hours a week. Applicants must have good oral and written communication skills, and must be able to commit to at least 8 hours every week. Student callers will enjoy setting their own hours every week and will have the opportunity to improve marketable skills that will prepare them to join the work force post college. Facilities: Preventative Maintenance, Men’s Dorms

Facilities Management has an opening for one student to help maintain building and equipment in a preventive role each weekday of the semester. Duties include, but are not limited to, general assistance with light maintenance work; changing light bulbs, lenses, batteries; water softener salt distribution; painting, cleaning, moving items. Custodial Crew

Applications are being taken for the following positions in the Custodial Department:

  • Day Crew to clean a ladies’ dorm, Monday through Friday, between 2:00 and 6:00 p.m.
  • Weekend Cleaning Crew to clean main buildings. Must be available Saturday and/or Sunday nights, 10:00 p.m. until midnight.
  • Chair crew for the chapel set-up and tear-down. Must have 2nd OR 3rd hour free.
  • Night Shift Custodians to clean main buildings after hours, two hours daily from 10:00 p.m. until midnight, Monday through Friday.

Snow Crew!

The MBU grounds department would like to hire student grounds care workers to help maintain the campus during the snow season. This position pays $10 per hour.

Duties include:

  • Clearing designated areas of snow, including parking areas, sidewalks, and driveways during the winter season.
  • Perform snow and ice control and removal procedures including sanding, spreading deicing chemicals, loading trucks, hauling snow, or assisting other mechanics in the maintenance of snow removal.
  • Hours vary according to weather conditions, but position often requires early morning work hours.

Food Service

Food Service has openings for the following times. Pay for weekend shifts is $10 per hour.

  • Monday through Friday (shifts can be split)
    • 6:30-9:30 a.m.
    • 8:00-9:00 a.m.
    • 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
    • 2:00-7:30 p.m.
  • Saturday
    • 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
    • 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
    • 4:00-7:00 p.m.
  • Sunday (shifts can be split)
    • 7:00-9:00 a.m.
    • 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
    • 7:15-9:00 p.m.

    Academic Success Center – Tutors

    The Academic Success Center is presently looking for tutors to join our team, specifically in the areas of general accountability, music, accounting, and general ed.
