Dining Complex

The Dining Complex is looking to hire students for the 2024-2025 school year. If you enjoy working in the kitchen or in food service, consider working in the DC to helping provide a valuable service to fellow students, faculty, staff, and campus guests. Facilities – Preventative Maintenance

Facilities is looking for a female preventative maintenance worker to work in the women’s dorms starting Fall 2024. This position involves maintaining buildings and equipment in a preventive role in order to extend the life of equipment. This is an 8-10 hour per week position (¾ of the hours to be done during normal business hours) and includes working through the end of graduation week with the option of starting as early as the beginning of preseason.

Academic Success Center – Tutors

The Academic Success Center is presently looking for tutors for the Fall 2024 Semester. Applicants need to be teachable, patient, and at least a sophomore with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Tutors are needed in various areas including Greek, accounting, writing, general education, and time management. Hours are flexible.

Custodial Department

The Custodial Department is hiring for the following positions:

  • Night Shift Custodians to clean main buildings after hours, two hours daily from 10:00 p.m. until midnight, Monday through Friday.
  • Weekend Cleaning Crew to clean main buildings. Must be available Saturday and Sunday nights, 10:00 p.m. until midnight.
  • Chair crew for chapel set-up and tear-down. Must have 2nd or 3rd hour free.

Costume Cottage – Seamstress

The Costume Cottage has an opening for one seamstress. We create and alter costumes for the university and academy plays, and alter all drama recital costumes, orchestra and choir outfits as needed.

The student must be willing to work 10 to 15 hours a week during the daytime (8 to 6), Monday through Friday. Required skills include the ability to thread a sewing machine; sew straight, curved seams; gather fabric; set in sleeves (a plus!) and sew a dart. The Student should have sewn a simple garment previously with or without help and be willing to learn. Other helpful skills are inserting a zipper of any type, sewing a moderate-level pattern and being able to adjust ready-made clothes.

Stage Crew

Stage Crew is looking to hire student workers. If you enjoy construction, and/or are artistic and enjoy being backstage for plays, this position provides a great opportunity to put those talents to work and learn.

IT Helpdesk and Visual Editing

Do you enjoy IT and working with technology? The IT Department is hiring student workers to work at the IT Helpdesk as well as work with video editing.

Post Office

Are you detail oriented?  You must be able to follow instructions, work independently and be able to multi-task projects. Open shifts are on Thursdays and Fridays.

Nursing Department Lab Monitor

The Nursing Department has an opening for a responsible, organized, and diligent student to monitor the nursing labs for 8-16 hours per week. The student who accepts this position will work two to four days per week and assist the nursing faculty in maintaining a studious practice environment for nursing students. Other responsibilities include maintaining the cleanliness of the nursing labs (H1 and H2), record keeping, stocking the labs, locking up at the end of the day, and other tasks as needed. Applicants must have good oral and written communication skills.
