Post Office and Campus Stores

The Campus Stores cashiers assist customers, collect payments, box customers’ items and calculate correct shipping costs, performs needed cleaning, counts and turns in end of day deposits and serve to help accomplish any work needed for the Campus Stores.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Basic typing and computer skills
  • Ability to relate well to customers and co-workers, in person and on the phone
  • Ability to complete paperwork and cash transactions completely and accurately
  • Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in written English
  • Ability to follow directions
  • Ability to work alone or with others

Development – Student Caller Positions

The Development Office is looking for student callers to work both semesters of the coming school year. The purpose of the position is to help raise money for student scholarships by calling friends of Maranatha asking them to give to the Annual Fund. Applicants should have the ability to communicate clearly and personably over the phone and should be detail-oriented. It is also a plus for workers to be positive, self-motivated, goal-oriented students who have attended Maranatha for at least one semester; however, new students are also welcome to apply. Student callers will work from 5-9 pm on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings for a total of twelve hours per week. Summer/Seasonal Maintenance Paint Crew

Provides painting services throughout campus, including prep and painting of interior walls and ceilings, millwork, and exteriors. Assist with capital projects as needed. Those interested should read the job description and complete the application.

Summer/Seasonal Grounds Worker

The MBU grounds department would like to hire a full-time (or part-time) grounds care worker to help maintain the lawn and landscaping on campus during the summer.  The ideal candidate should be comfortable operating zero turn lawn mowers and/or willing to work in the flower beds. Those interested should read the job description and complete the application.

School of Nursing: Student Lab Assistant

The Student Lab Assistant assists the Nursing faculty as needed with various filing, recordkeeping, and lab needs. Is responsible to provide supplies to students in the lab, straighten and maintain cleanliness of the nursing labs (H2, DC 119, and Hal’s Room), and lock up at the end of the day. Must have basic keyboarding skills and familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel; good oral and written communication skills.

Summer Capital Improvements Helper/Carpenter’s Assistant

Facilities Management is taking applications for a carpenter’s assistant to work full-time hours over the summer and up to 20 hours per week during the school year. The carpenter assistant will assist with construction projects and will operate power tools. Must be 18 years of age. Please read the job description and apply below.

Kiddie Kampus – Summer/Seasonal
