Academic Success Center – Tutors

The Academic Success Center is presently looking for tutors for the Fall 2024 Semester. Applicants need to be teachable, patient, and at least a sophomore with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Tutors are needed in various areas including Greek, accounting, writing, general education, and time management. Hours are flexible.

Custodial Department

The Custodial Department is hiring for the Weekend Cleaning Crew to clean main buildings. Must be available Saturday and Sunday nights, 10:00 p.m. until midnight.

Enrollment/Recruitment Caller

The Enrollment Office is looking for a student caller to assist the Undergraduate Admissions Office by calling prospective students to encourage them to apply and/or enroll at MBU. This process involves effectively informing prospective undergraduate students about opportunities and the admissions process with a positive attitude. The caller must accurately record and submit each call activity and maintain a positive and professional response.

Graphic Designer

(multiple positions):
The Marketing Office is looking to hire graphic designers to assist in the design and layout of creative assets for digital and print media, including social media graphics, brochures, and posters. Those who can show examples of personal graphic design work (logos, layouts, graphic elements, etc.) are preferred.

Stage Crew

Stage Crew is looking to hire student workers. If you enjoy construction, and/or are artistic and enjoy being backstage for plays, this position provides a great opportunity to put those talents to work and learn.

Student Health Center

The Student Health Center has an opening for 1-2 student workers to serve as back-up delivers to bring lunches to students on the sick list. This position entails contacting the students to obtain their lunch order, picking up the requested items from the DC, and delivering the food to the dorms on the days the regularly scheduled deliverers aren’t available to deliver. About an hour of availability is needed between 10:30 am & 1:30 pm.

Trash Truck Driver

Custodial is looking for a trash truck DRIVER. This position involves driving around campus to pick up trash and recyclables. Must be available Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m. The time to complete the job is 1-2 hours each day.  Must be 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
