Walk the halls of Old Main at any time of the day and you are sure to hear the diligent practice of instrumentalists or vocalists. They are doing their best to craft a performance that honors God.
With past productions like The Count of Monte Cristo, Hamlet, A Christmas Carol, Music Man, and many more classic and modern stage adaptations, Maranatha offers a rich tradition on the stage.
Honoring Christ with your Talent
Nearly half of all Maranatha students participate in fine arts of some sort. There is rich tradition both in drama and music, tracing back to Maranatha’s founding in 1968.
If music or drama doesn’t fit precisely into your academic program, opportunities still abound to be involved–whether through participation or attendance! From touring groups, to musicals, ensembles, quartets, dramatic production recitals, bands, orchestras and more–Maranatha has the perfect opportunity for you to use your gifts.
