Gary Garrison

Associate Professor
School of Education

Mr. Gary Garrison and his wife, Janet, attend Calvary Baptist Church in Watertown, where Gary serves as an usher and a deacon. Gary and Janet have been married since 1987 and they have three children, two of which are graduates of MBU. Janet teaches kindergarten at Calvary Baptist Christian School in Watertown. Coach Garrison has been on eight baseball missions trips to the Dominican Republic. Mr. Garrison’s favorite food is rotisserie chicken.

Before coming to Maranatha in 2004, Coach Garrison taught for sixteen years on the junior high/high school level and eight years on the college level. He has coached a variety of sports in his years of service, including high school and college baseball, high school and college basketball, high school soccer, high school volleyball, and college cross country.

Family: Gary and his wife, Janet have been married since 1987. They have three grown children who all attended Maranatha. They have two delightful grandchildren.

Church Ministry: Gary serves as a deacon and Adult Bible Fellowship leader at his local church. He also serves as a bus driver in the church bus ministry.

Other activities and interests: Gary enjoys running, baseball, and reading. He has also traveled on thirteen baseball missions trips to the Dominican Republic.
