Dr. David Ledgerwood filled the role of pianist in the 724th Air Force Band of the Pacific Northwest from 1973-1977. He came to Maranatha in 1986 after holding the position of music director and teacher at Calvary Baptist Church in Clymer, Pennsylvania for eight years. He has written many arrangements, 40 of which are published. He has also published two books: Music Investigations: A 30-Day Bible Study Exploring Music; and With One Voice, Conducting Songleading for the Local Church.

Dr. Ledgerwood ministers at Calvary Baptist Church in Watertown, Wisconsin as deacon, pianist and organist, and choir member. He and his wife, Kim, have eight children. Dr. Ledgerwood enjoys Asian food and has traveled to all fifty states and nine different countries. He has traveled with several Maranatha Global Encounters missions trips with students and would like to some day visit Poland, where his grandparents were from.
