Although he is now the Vice President for Academic Affairs, he continues to teach in both the Department of Humanities (College of Arts and Sciences) and the School of Education.

Dr. Licht and his wife, Susan, have been married since 1980 and have four children. The Lichts attend Fellowship Baptist Church in Watertown, where Dr. Licht is a deacon and Sunday School teacher. He enjoys such outdoor activities as fishing, hiking, and bicycling, and loves western Washington State. His favorite food is pie, especially apple pie, and he cheers for the MBU Sabercats and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
