Welcome To The 25th Annual Golf Classic

Good Golf.

Great Cause.

The Maranatha Golf Classic brings together the Watertown community and the MBU family for a day of good golf and a commitment to a great cause, the Watertown Endowment. The endowment provides financial resources for MBU faculty and staff—and in return, economically benefits the city and surrounding counties. In its 25th year, the Golf Classic builds connections within the area, highlighting the generous support of MBU and the university’s commitment to the community at large.

Course
& Location

Watertown Country Club is a private 18-hole golf course established in 1922. The back nine, designed by legendary Larry Packard, opened for play in 1961. Once rich farmland, the 120-acre classic-style course features subtle greens and challenging tees. Mature trees line the fairways and Silver Creek meanders through the course and comes into play on eleven holes. Collared shirts are required on the course.

From Our Sponsors

We believe in supporting our community and being a part of key functions. This is one way we can do that. Additionally, it has been a great way for our board members to deepen their relationships with each other and in Watertown.

Jon Lange, CEO of Glacial Community YMCA

This is a fantastic way to get involved with an excellent university. The MBU Golf Classic gives everyone the ability to meet and network with others. We are proud to have such a great asset as Maranatha as a part of the Watertown community.

Joshua Patterson, VP at Bank First

I’m invested in and supportive of education. I love [Maranatha’s] mission statement. I love the thought of educating young people. The thought of being able to help with that is outstanding.

Erick Schoenberger, Treasury Management Officer at Associated Bank
