Course Name/Code: Anatomy and Physiology 1, ASSC 226

Catalog Description: A survey of the structures and functions of the human body. The cat will be used as a model for macroscopic dissection and observations. The first semester covers basic chemistry, cells, tissues, as well as the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, and nervous systems.

Prerequisite: High school biology (one year), high school anatomy/physiology (one year), or ASSC 120 and ASSC 121.

Credit Hours: 4

Notes: This course lasts 16 weeks, and students are required to purchase a lab pack.
