Maranatha offers a variety of events to its students. Students have the opportunity to participate in or watch fine arts events and athletic events. Maranatha also plans special ministry events throughout the year for students to attend. In addition to these outings, student body officers and the Office of Student Activities plan activities for the student body.

Fine Arts Events

Students have a variety of fine arts events that they can attend. Weekend calendars are filled with student recitals as music majors and minors have a chance to showcase their talents. There are also special concerts such as Fall Fest, Artist Series, or Christmas concerts. In addition to these musical events, students can attend dramatic productions.

Athletic Events

Maranatha Baptist Bible College competes in six intercollegiate men’s sports–football, soccer, cross country, basketball, wrestling, and baseball. Maranatha also competes in five intercollegiate women’s sports–soccer, volleyball, cross country, basketball, and softball. With all of these sports, students have the opportunity to attend many athletic events.
Besides the chance to attend intercollegiate events, students can also participate in or watch intramural sports. Intramural sports take place through a student's society and include soccer, dodgeball, volleyball, basketball, and powderpuff football!

Student Body Events

Student body officers and the Office of Student Activities plan events for the student body, including Labor Day festivities, spirit weeks, and student body premiere events that change from semester to semester. Past premiere events include film fest, game shows and a movie night on the quad. These events offer a great chance for fun and fellowship!

Society Events

At Maranatha all students join a society. Within societies, students have many opportunities to be involved. One way to get involved is through intramural sports. The society cabinet also plans events such as dating outings, stag outings, brother/sister outings and more! Previous outings include activities such as bonfires, ice skating, photo scavenger hunts, corn mazes, and movie nights. Within their societies, students can also be involved in ministry activities that provide a vehicle for community service, outreach, and volunteer work.

Ministry Events

Each year, the Fall and Winter Revival Meetings help set the spiritual tone for the upcoming semester. The annual Missions Conference showcases the need for global ministry and allows our students to make contact with missionaries that can encourage and inspire them to full-time vocational ministry. One of the most exciting days of the fall is Ministry Recruitment Day, when pastors from area partnering churches present their ministries and new students determine where they will serve during their first semester.
