Charity Talosig Arranging Showcase Highlights

Charity Talosig presented nine original arrangements in her junior arranging showcase. Under the direction of David Ledgerwood, she prepared this performance as part of her music degree in arranging and composition. The night was edifying for all in attendance, as Talosig filled her program with not only musical creativity but also powerful spiritual messages.

Talosig sees value in her degree beyond simple pages of music. She is developing her skill for arranging music for the purpose of glorifying God. “There is a great need for well-composed elementary and intermediate music, and more so for sacred music,” she says. “My hope for my music writing after my time here at Maranatha is to write music that I can tailor to the musical needs of my church.” An arranger with Talosig’s talent and heart for God can serve in mighty ways.
