Elaine Beary, New Faculty in Department of Humanities

Miss Elaine Beary will be joining Maranatha’s Department of Humanities as full-time English faculty in the Fall of 2022.

Beary holds a graduate certificate in English and MEd in Teaching and Learning with a concentration in English from Maranatha Baptist University and a BS in Secondary Education from Northland Baptist Bible College. She has been teaching in Christian education for twelve years and taught as an online adjunct English professor at another university.

A Colorado native, Beary is looking forward to moving to Wisconsin to invest in students’ lives. She shares, “I look forward to serving at Maranatha where I can continue to invest in students through helping them to hone their God-given gifts of communication and critical thinking skills, gifts they will apply throughout their lives in many areas of ministry. What a privilege to simply be a servant investing in other servants for God’s glory.”

Angela Morris, Chair of the Department of Humanities, states, “We are thrilled to welcome Elaine to our department. Her years of classroom experience have given her solid insights into classroom management, curriculum, and student interaction; all of these will assist her as she enters an MBU classroom. She has an obvious passion for excellence as a teacher and for teaching writing. We welcome her to our English Department confident of the quality classroom experience she will provide our students.”

Miss Beary will begin her new teaching responsibilities in the Fall of 2022.
