Chorale Choir Tour 2017

The Maranatha Chorale ministers mostly for on-campus events and local churches throughout the semester. Rather than taking week-long tours, Chorale typically takes several weekend tours throughout the Spring semester.

Recently, Chorale drove to Sparta and Blooming Prairie, Minnesota for a weekend of concerts and fellowship.

“This weekend was a particular encouragement to me,” writes Benjamin McGarity, “because I was able to get away from the busyness associated with the end of the semester and turn my focus to serving God.”

Along with that, Senior Business Major Sarah Oman remarks, “I love being able to go out on these short weekend tours with Chorale because I’m extremely busy, but I’m still able to be a part of a music ministry with the school.”

“It was a blessing to worship with brothers and sisters in Christ away from home,” states Carissa Juvinall. “I’m thankful for God’s love for all of us and the opportunity to meet and encourage others.”

“It’s such a blessing to me,” says Oman, “to see people in small churches being blessed by a big choir like Chorale.”

McGarity continues, In Chorale, “I am given opportunities to serve God with other students off of the Maranatha Campus.”

Everyone is finishing out the end of the semester, and Chorale has one final weekend out in Shiocton and Ripon, Wisconsin.

“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.” Colossians 3:23-24
