Find a book or article that you can read online

The Cedarholm Library offers a number of resources online. To read full text for online resources, like books or articles, follow these steps.

1. Access Holmes.
2. In the search box type the book or article’s title, author, or keyword and then click Search Options.
3. In the Limit your results section under Search Options select Full Text and de-select Available in Library Collection.De-selecting Available in Library Collection will ensure that your results include only those materials that are available in full-text versions.You should see all the articles and books the full text of which you can read online on the results page.
4. On the results page, find the resource that interests you, and then click the link that contains the phrase Full Text.See the image below for some examples of what this link may look like.

You can do a number of tasks with eBooks through Holmes.

For example, you can try searching within your eBook. Or you can record notes in it.
