Academic Success Center – Tutors

The Academic Success Center is looking for tutors. Applicants need to be teachable, patient, and at least a sophomore with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Tutors are needed in various areas including Math, Science, Greek, Writing, Music, and General Education Courses. Hours are flexible.

Athletics

The Athletics Department is seeking to hire event staff workers for the coming year. This position includes helping with on campus athletic events throughout the school year.

Costume Cottage 

The Costume Cottage has openings for one seamstress this Fall Semester. We create and alter costumes for the university and academy plays, plus alter all drama recital costumes, orchestra and choir outfits as needed.

The student must be willing to work 10 hours a week during the daytime (10 to 6:30), Monday thru Friday. They should be able to thread a sewing machine, sew straight, curved seams, can gather fabric, set in sleeves (plus) and sew a dart. The Student should have sewn a simple garment with or without help and be willing to learn. A plus would be inserting a zipper of any type, sewing a moderate level pattern and being able to adjust readymade clothes.

Custodial – Night Crew

Custodial is looking to hire nightshift custodians. This crew cleans the main buildings after hours; two hours daily from 10:00 p.m. until midnight, Monday through Friday.

Custodial – Trash Truck Driver

Custodial is looking for a trash truck DRIVER. This position involves driving around campus to pick up trash and recyclables for the spring semester. Must be available Monday through Friday, hours are flexible. The time to complete the job is 1-2 hours each day.  Must be 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Custodial – Weekend Cleaning Crew

Custodial is seeking workers for the Weekend Cleaning Crew to clean main buildings. Must be available Saturday or Sunday nights, 10:00 p.m. until midnight.

IT Helpdesk and Video Editing

Do you enjoy IT and working with technology? The IT Department is hiring student workers to work at the IT Helpdesk as well as work with video editing.

Kiddie Kampus

If you enjoy working with young children, consider working at Kiddie Kampus this summer. Kiddie Kampus is hiring summer student workers to work specifically in the afternoons.

Security

Security is looking to add more guards for the evenings. If you are looking to gain experience in the area of security, Maranatha Security can give you experience. The job includes working mostly evenings/nights with some Saturdays and Sundays as well. We do require that you have completed at least one full semester on campus before the beginning of work.
