Aria Saunders joined the MBU faculty in the fall of 2024, filling an integral need in the Department of Applied Science for physical science-related coursework. She previously worked as a Teaching Assistant and Research Coordinator at the University of Colorado (graduating at the top of her class), specializing in biomechanics and publishing her research in medical journals. She strives to continue learning more about math and science, and is passionate about Christian education.

Church Ministry: choir, handbells, piano, organ, flute; helps with the youth group, and runs the soundboard and other A/V responsibilities.
Community Involvement: Played flute in community orchestra, the Lakewood Symphony Orchestra; performed with family in churches in Colorado.
Organizations: Tau Beta Pi Engineering Society
Other activities and interests: spending time with family, music, reading, cooking, and being outdoors especially for hiking, biking, and riding ATVs
